Role Summary:
As a Logistics / SCM Analyst at Havells India Ltd., you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations. You will analyze data, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies to improve logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. This role requires a data-driven approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of supply chain principles within the electrical equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze transportation, warehousing, and inventory data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain, focusing on freight, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, manufacturing, sales) and external partners (carriers, 3PL providers) to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain performance.
- Utilize supply chain software and analytical tools to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve route planning.
- Support the development and execution of supply chain strategies to align with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
