Logistics / SCM Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Logistics / SCM Engineer to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient delivery of services and materials, and driving cost-effectiveness. You will be responsible for analyzing current logistics processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance overall supply chain performance within the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and map existing logistics and supply chain processes.
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and areas for improvement in the current supply chain.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Technology, Customer Service) and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of logistics plans.
- Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on supply chain performance.
- Design and implement new logistics solutions and technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts.
- Contribute to the development of long-term supply chain strategies.
