Role Summary: HAL is seeking a talented and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, data analysis, and software development, with a passion for applying these skills to solve complex problems in the defence and aerospace domain. You will be instrumental in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for applications such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, image recognition, and autonomous systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for various defence and aerospace applications.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to prepare them for model training and evaluation.
- Evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on model design.
- Collaborate with domain experts, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and integrate ML solutions.
- Develop and maintain ML pipelines for data ingestion, model training, and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Contribute to research and development efforts for novel ML applications within HAL.
