Machine Operator / Machinist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Machinist to join our facilities management team at JLL. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery and equipment used in facility upkeep and repair. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and a proactive approach to ensuring the efficient functioning of building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain a variety of machinery, including but not limited to, lathes, milling machines, grinders, and specialized facility maintenance equipment.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate machining and assembly.
* Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
* Inspect finished products and parts for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
* Set up and calibrate machinery according to job requirements and safety guidelines.
* Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues, reporting them to the supervisor for resolution.
* Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
* Assist in the installation and modification of equipment as needed.
* Collaborate with other maintenance staff and technicians to complete projects efficiently.
