Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator/Machinist to join our food processing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality production of food products. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor food processing machinery (e.g., filling, packaging, sealing, mixing machines).
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Adjust machine settings according to production requirements and product specifications.
- Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and report any significant issues to the maintenance team.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Read and interpret production schedules and machine manuals.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
