Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Machine Shop Incharge / Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our machine shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and managing a team of skilled machinists. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of machine shop personnel.
- Plan and schedule production to meet deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure all machinery is operated safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Monitor production output and quality control, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Train and mentor junior machinists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and tooling, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures within the machine shop.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and production issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams on new product development and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
