Machine Shop Incharge / Supervisor

Role Summary: The Machine Shop Incharge / Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and safety compliance. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in machining processes, and the ability to manage a team of skilled technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all activities within the machine shop, including CNC and conventional machining operations.
• Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timeliness.
• Implement and enforce strict quality control procedures to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Manage the maintenance and upkeep of all machinery and equipment in the shop.
• Schedule and assign work to machine operators and technicians, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Train and mentor junior staff, fostering skill development within the team.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tooling, and consumables.
• Collaborate with engineering and planning departments to optimize production processes.
