Maintenance Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Bharti Airtel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our telecommunications infrastructure and equipment across various locations in India. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize downtime and maintain service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on network equipment, power systems, and associated infrastructure.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to telecommunications equipment (e.g., routers, switches, base stations, fiber optic networks).
• Respond to and resolve network outages and service disruptions in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections and performance tests of equipment to identify potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement upgrades and new installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
