Maintenance Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and reliability of all plant machinery and equipment within our pulp and paper manufacturing facility. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day maintenance activities of plant machinery and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all critical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on machinery such as paper machines, pulp digesters, boilers, and other auxiliary equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of necessary components.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
