Maintenance Head

Role Summary: The Maintenance Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance operations across Blue Dart's extensive network in India. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong technical background to ensure the optimal functioning, safety, and efficiency of all operational assets, including vehicles, sorting facilities, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and programs for all company assets, including vehicles, material handling equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies related to maintenance operations.
- Implement and manage a robust asset management system, including tracking maintenance history, spare parts inventory, and equipment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to optimize equipment performance and identify needs for upgrades or replacements.
- Investigate and resolve maintenance-related issues and incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in maintenance and asset management.
- Develop and deliver training programs for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
