Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly specialized and innovative professional with a Doctorate/PhD to join our team as a Make Up / Costume Specialist. This role focuses on the advanced application and development of specialized cosmetic and prosthetic techniques for medical, therapeutic, or reconstructive purposes within a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will leverage their advanced research background and understanding of human physiology and aesthetics to create realistic and functional cosmetic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, design, and develop specialized prosthetic and cosmetic applications for patients requiring reconstructive or therapeutic make-up (e.g., post-surgery, burn victims, congenital deformities).
- Collaborate with medical professionals, including surgeons, dermatologists, and therapists, to understand patient needs and treatment plans.
- Apply advanced make-up and costume techniques to create realistic and natural-looking results for medical and aesthetic purposes.
- Conduct research into new materials, techniques, and technologies in prosthetics and cosmetic science relevant to healthcare.
- Maintain meticulous records of patient treatments, materials used, and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Train and mentor junior staff or students on specialized make-up and costume techniques for medical applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in medical aesthetics, cosmetic science, and prosthetics through continuous learning and professional development.
