Manager - Data Science

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Data Science Manager to lead our talented team of data scientists. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization, and mentoring junior data scientists. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to solve complex insurance challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
2. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for various insurance use cases (e.g., pricing, underwriting, claims, fraud detection).
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate business needs into data science solutions.
4. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and identify opportunities for innovation.
5. Communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
