Manager - Data Science role in Pulp & Paper

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our team as a Manager - Data Science. This role is ideal for an individual with 2-4 years of experience and a strong academic background (M.Tech) looking to leverage data to drive innovation and efficiency in the pulp and paper industry. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models for process optimization, predictive maintenance, and quality control within the paper manufacturing lifecycle.

Analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., production logs, sensor data, market trends) to identify actionable insights and business opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, R&D, IT) to define data science project requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building a strong data-driven culture within the organization.

Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytical purposes.

Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
