Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis to join our finance team in Nagpur. This role is crucial for driving strategic financial decision-making and supporting the firm's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage their advanced academic background (Doctorate/PhD) and 2-4 years of relevant experience to provide deep insights into financial performance, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
* Conduct in-depth variance analysis of actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and providing actionable recommendations.
* Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Support strategic initiatives by performing financial due diligence, scenario analysis, and business case development.
* Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data, understand business operations, and ensure alignment with financial goals.
* Enhance existing financial processes and systems, recommending improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into business performance.
* Conduct research on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform financial strategy.
* Assist in the preparation of board materials and investor relations communications.
* Mentor and guide junior members of the finance team.
