Manager Information Security

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager of Information Security to join our dynamic team at Vedanta Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive information security strategies and programs to protect the company's critical assets, data, and systems across our Indian operations. This role requires a strong understanding of security best practices, risk management, and compliance within the metals and mining sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security, and data loss prevention.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
- Manage security incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into the system development lifecycle.
- Monitor security alerts and logs, analyze security trends, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
