Manager - Machine Learning (Full-Time) | Pune

We are seeking a talented and motivated Manager - Machine Learning with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning principles and a passion for applying these techniques to solve real-world business problems within the pulp and paper industry. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models that drive efficiency, optimize processes, and enhance decision-making across various operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for predictive maintenance, quality control, demand forecasting, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, IT) to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources within the organization.
- Evaluate and validate model performance, iteratively improving accuracy and effectiveness.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their ongoing performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science, and explore their applicability to the pulp and paper industry.
- Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of a strong data science culture.
