Job Description
Role Summary: The Manager - R&D will lead and manage research and development initiatives within the Power sector at L&T. This role involves driving innovation, developing new technologies, and improving existing products and processes to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness in power generation and transmission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in the power industry.
- Develop and execute R&D strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead a team of researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of new power generation components and systems.
- Manage R&D projects, including budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure successful product commercialization.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and patent applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
