Role Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of BHP's global strategy, identifying new growth opportunities, and driving value creation across the organization. You will work closely with senior leadership to analyze market trends, evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
- Support the evaluation of potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
- Develop financial models and valuation analyses for strategic initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Collaborate with business units to align strategic initiatives with operational plans.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the Metals & Mining sector.
- Contribute to the development of BHP's long-term strategic roadmap.
- Manage cross-functional project teams to execute strategic projects.
