Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager Taxation to oversee all tax-related matters for our growing textile and apparel business. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, optimize tax strategies, and manage tax filings and assessments effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, corporate tax, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
- Prepare and file timely tax returns and statements.
- Liaise with tax authorities for assessments, audits, and inquiries.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance.
- Provide tax advisory services to various business units and management.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
- Oversee tax-related documentation and record-keeping.
- Assist in tax litigation and dispute resolution.
