Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing and scaling manufacturing processes for our portfolio companies, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with startup management teams to implement best practices and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Design and conduct experiments to test and validate process changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on manufacturing performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Support the scale-up of manufacturing operations from pilot to full production.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to manufacturing personnel.
