Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Role Summary: The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality production operations within our Indian facilities. This role is critical for driving process improvements, implementing new technologies, and maintaining operational excellence in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.
• Oversee the design, development, implementation, and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with cGMP, regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, Indian regulatory bodies), and internal quality standards.
• Manage capital expenditure projects related to manufacturing equipment and facility upgrades.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless technology transfer and scale-up of new products.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Stay abreast of new manufacturing technologies and industry best practices.
