Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee and optimize the production processes for our innovative EdTech hardware initiatives. This role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient, high-quality, and scalable manufacturing of our learning devices and related components. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the entire manufacturing lifecycle, from prototyping and pilot runs to mass production.
• Establish and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure supplier performance meets expectations.
• Develop and manage manufacturing budgets and capital expenditure plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
