Manufacturing Operations Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our steel manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our plant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets and quality objectives.
2. Manage day-to-day manufacturing activities, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
3. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
4. Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and plant personnel.
5. Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
6. Manage inventory levels, raw material procurement, and finished goods dispatch.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
8. Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure optimal plant utilization.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and supply chain.
10. Prepare operational reports and present findings to senior management.
