Manufacturing Operations Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Manufacturing Operations Manager with a Doctorate/PhD to oversee and optimize our production processes within the Animation & VFX manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring efficient, high-quality output and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in scientific or engineering principles, with 1-3 years of experience applying these to operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance production efficiency, throughput, and quality in line with company objectives.
- Analyze complex production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement, leveraging advanced statistical and research methodologies.
- Design, test, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies to improve output and reduce costs.
- Manage and mentor a team of production specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and creative departments, to align operational capabilities with project requirements.
- Oversee resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to maximize operational effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in manufacturing and VFX production.
