Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Engineer to join our team. The Marine Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of marine vessels and associated equipment used in our offshore oil and gas operations. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime regulations, vessel maintenance, safety protocols, and efficient operational management to ensure the smooth and safe functioning of our marine assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all marine vessels and equipment.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of marine assets.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage vessel crew, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and training.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and safety management systems.
  • Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, and operational costs.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as offshore operations, logistics, and safety.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
