Marine Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Engineer to join our dynamic team. While our primary industry is media and entertainment (TV/Radio), we require an engineer with a strong understanding of complex systems and operational efficiency, transferable from a marine engineering background, to oversee and optimize our broadcast infrastructure and related technical operations. This role involves ensuring the seamless functioning of our broadcast equipment and facilities, managing maintenance schedules, and contributing to the technical strategy of our broadcasting operations. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast equipment and associated systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all technical infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to broadcast transmission, studio equipment, and network infrastructure.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes for technical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and operational standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to support live broadcasts and special events.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and operational logs.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in broadcast technology and recommend upgrades or new solutions.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of technical projects, including infrastructure upgrades and new facility setups.
