Marine Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Engineer with a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in leveraging advanced data analysis and software solutions to optimize marine operations, logistics, and potentially integrate with supply chain management within the gems and jewellery sector. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in marine engineering principles and strong capabilities in software development, data management, and system analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software solutions for marine vessel tracking, cargo management, and route optimization.
- Analyze large datasets related to shipping, logistics, and inventory for the gems and jewellery supply chain to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Design and maintain databases for critical operational data, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and IT, to integrate marine engineering solutions with broader business systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to marine operational software and data systems.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in marine engineering, data science, and software development.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations on project progress and findings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant maritime regulations and industry standards.
