Marine / Maritime Pilot

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Marine / Maritime Pilot to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma and have 6 years of experience in maritime operations, with a focus on safe and efficient navigation and vessel movement within port environments. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial automation projects that involve port infrastructure and maritime logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely guide and pilot vessels into and out of port facilities, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Assess vessel characteristics, environmental conditions (tides, currents, weather), and port traffic to determine safe passage plans.
- Communicate effectively with ship masters, port authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced navigation equipment and technologies, including radar, GPS, and communication systems.
- Conduct pre-arrival and post-departure checks of vessels and navigational aids.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents at sea or within the port area with prompt and decisive action.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all pilotage operations.
- Provide expert advice on navigational matters and port operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of maritime operations with industrial automation solutions.
