Marine / Maritime Pilot - Design Sector (2-3 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marine / Maritime Pilot with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic design team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of maritime operations and legal frameworks, leveraging their LLB degree to contribute to the safe and efficient navigation and operational design aspects of maritime projects. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and design teams to ensure compliance and operational feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on maritime regulations, pilotage best practices, and navigational safety within the design phase of marine projects.
- Review and interpret navigational charts, hydrographic data, and port infrastructure designs to identify potential operational risks.
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contingency plans for marine operations.
- Collaborate with naval architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate pilotage requirements into vessel and port designs.
- Ensure compliance with international, national, and local maritime laws and conventions, particularly those related to pilotage and vessel traffic management.
- Conduct risk assessments for proposed maritime designs, focusing on pilotage interfaces and navigational clearances.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to maritime operational feasibility and legal compliance.
- Stay updated on advancements in maritime technology, navigation systems, and relevant legal precedents.
