Marine Superintendent

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to oversee and manage all marine operations related to our power plant's port facilities and associated vessels. The Marine Superintendent will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations, including cargo handling, vessel traffic, and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marine operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Supervise and manage the berthing and unberthing of vessels.
- Oversee the safe and efficient loading and unloading of bulk cargo (e.g., coal) for power generation.
- Ensure compliance with all national and international maritime regulations, port rules, and environmental standards.
- Manage vessel traffic within the port limits and coordinate with port authorities.
- Conduct regular inspections of port facilities, equipment, and vessels.
- Investigate marine incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage marine crew and shore-based support staff.
- Liaise with shipping agents, charterers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all marine activities and prepare reports.
