Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and quantitative Market Risk Analyst with a Doctorate/PhD to join our team in Ludhiana. This role will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and mitigating market risks within our diverse infrastructure portfolio. You will leverage your advanced academic background and research skills to develop sophisticated risk models and provide strategic insights to senior management, contributing to the financial stability and growth of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quantitative models to assess market risks (e.g., interest rate risk, currency risk, commodity price risk) impacting infrastructure projects.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics relevant to the Indian infrastructure and real estate sectors.
- Monitor and analyze market exposures, performing stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts on project profitability and financial health.
- Collaborate with finance, project management, and treasury teams to integrate risk management strategies into business operations.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key risks, mitigation strategies, and recommendations.
- Stay abreast of emerging risk management techniques and regulatory requirements within the Indian financial landscape.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's risk appetite framework and policies.
