Material Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Material Scientist to join our dynamic team in the leather industry. The Material Scientist will be responsible for researching, developing, and testing new materials and processes to enhance the properties, performance, and sustainability of our leather products. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on novel materials, chemicals, and finishing techniques for leather applications.
• Develop and optimize material formulations and processing parameters to achieve desired product characteristics (e.g., durability, flexibility, water resistance, colorfastness).
• Perform rigorous testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using advanced laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality control teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements, industry trends, and regulatory requirements in material science and the leather sector.
• Contribute to the development of sustainable and eco-friendly material solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations on research findings and project progress.
