Materials / Inventory Analyst

Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Materials/Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, and contributing to cost reduction initiatives within our hardware and networking operations in India. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze inventory levels for raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts and overstocking.

Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and demand forecasts.

Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.

Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counting and physical inventories.

Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Prepare regular reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Contribute to the development and implementation of inventory management systems and software.

Support cost reduction initiatives related to inventory holding, obsolescence, and material handling.
