Materials / Inventory Analyst

Role Summary: The Materials / Inventory Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels across Nykaa's supply chain. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with large datasets to ensure product availability, minimize stockouts, and reduce carrying costs. The analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our inventory management systems and contributing to the overall profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze inventory levels for all SKUs, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain inventory forecasts based on historical data, sales trends, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Implement and manage inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, damage, and obsolescence.
• Analyze inventory turnover rates and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status, stock levels, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify slow-moving and obsolete stock and recommend appropriate actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management software and systems.
