Materials / Inventory Analyst (3-5 Yrs) for Polycab India Ltd.

We are seeking a diligent and analytical Materials / Inventory Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Polycab India Ltd. in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Com degree and have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, cost control, and supply chain operations within the electrical equipment industry. You will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory levels, ensuring material availability, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure optimal stock.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Forecast material requirements based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and historical data.
- Track and report on inventory turnover, stock discrepancies, and aging inventory.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory strategies with business needs.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through efficient inventory management and waste minimization.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, performance metrics, and trends for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
