Materials Manager

Role Summary:
Chiratae Ventures is seeking a meticulous and organized Materials Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of all materials and supplies essential for our operations and portfolio support. This role is critical in ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness within our fast-paced venture capital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans for office supplies, technology equipment, and event materials.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock of essential items while minimizing holding costs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain an efficient inventory management system.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their material needs and provide timely support.
- Manage the budget allocated for procurement and inventory.
