Role Summary:

This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, gained through a B.Com education, to manage budgets and optimize material costs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of all materials and supplies required for facility management operations, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and obsolescence.
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor material usage and forecast future needs to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and other relevant documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to understand material requirements and provide support.
- Analyze material costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and cost analysis for management review.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in material handling and storage.
