Mechanic

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our technical team at Yash Raj Films. The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of our various production equipment, vehicles, and machinery used in film production, studios, and outdoor shoots. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a proactive approach to ensuring all equipment functions safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing on a wide range of mechanical equipment, including generators, lighting rigs, camera support systems, grip equipment, and studio machinery.

Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, breakdowns, and malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Maintain and repair production vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition for transport and on-location use.

Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repairs and maintenance.

Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ordering replacements as needed.

Collaborate with production teams, electricians, and other technical staff to ensure seamless operation of equipment.

Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
