Mechanical Technician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team at Syngene International Limited. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems within our state-of-the-art facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing and research infrastructure, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical and life sciences services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, HVAC systems, and process machinery.

Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety protocols.

Install and commission new mechanical equipment and systems according to specifications and blueprints.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand equipment operation and maintenance requirements.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement improvements in mechanical systems.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
