Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechatronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Mechatronics Engineer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing automated systems and machinery used in the production and processing of our high-quality leather goods. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles to create efficient, reliable, and cutting-edge solutions that enhance our manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement mechatronic systems for manufacturing processes, including robotics, automated assembly lines, and control systems.
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components to create cohesive and functional automated solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mechatronic systems and equipment.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of existing automated machinery to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and IT, to define requirements and deliver effective engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and operating manuals.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechatronics, automation, and manufacturing technologies, and assess their applicability to Hermès' operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all design and implementation phases.
