Mechatronics Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join our innovative team at Genworks Health. The Mechatronics Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of electromechanical systems for our cutting-edge medical devices. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering, electronics, control systems, and software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production, ensuring they meet stringent quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for medical devices, considering material selection, stress analysis, and manufacturing processes.

Integrate electronic components, sensors, actuators, and control systems into mechatronic designs.

Develop and implement control algorithms for electromechanical systems.

Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.

Conduct prototyping, testing, and validation of mechatronic systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the product development lifecycle.

Contribute to the design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) processes.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, tests, and procedures.
