Role Summary:
Ninjacart is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Medical Biller / Coder to manage and process all insurance claims and patient billing. This role is crucial for ensuring timely reimbursement and maintaining accurate financial records within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing and coding procedures, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies.
2. Verify patient insurance information and eligibility.
3. Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes to medical diagnoses and procedures.
4. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing issues.
5. Maintain accurate patient billing records and financial statements.
6. Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies.
7. Stay updated on relevant medical billing and coding regulations and best practices.
