Medical Biller / Coder (Post Graduation Not Required) - Hyderabad

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Biller / Coder with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely processing of medical claims and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles and be eager to learn and grow within our organization. This position does not require post-graduation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify patient demographics and insurance information for accuracy.
- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT) to diagnoses and procedures based on physician documentation.
- Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies electronically or via mail.
- Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims, identify reasons for denial, and take corrective actions.
- Post payments received from insurance companies and patients.
- Maintain patient accounts and ensure all billing information is up-to-date.
- Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
- Stay updated on industry changes, coding guidelines, and payer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and company policies.
