Medical Device Insurance Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Device Insurance Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing insurance strategies for our diverse range of medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating financial risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the medical device industry and insurance principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive insurance policies for all medical devices, covering product liability, recall, and general liability.
• Assess and manage insurance risks associated with new product development and market entry.
• Liaise with insurance brokers and underwriters to secure optimal coverage at competitive rates.
• Review and process insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Stay abreast of changes in insurance regulations and industry best practices, particularly within the medical device sector in India.
• Collaborate with legal, R&D, and manufacturing departments to ensure insurance requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
