Role Summary: Wipro is seeking a meticulous and efficient Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing dictated medical reports and other documents from healthcare providers into written form. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures, ensuring high-quality documentation for patient records. While not directly in the semiconductor manufacturing process, this role supports the administrative and documentation needs of a large multinational corporation that has diverse business interests, including those that may interface with the electronics and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe dictated medical reports, including patient histories, physical examinations, operative reports, consultation notes, and discharge summaries.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all transcribed documents, adhering to established medical and company guidelines.
• Identify and clarify any ambiguous or incomplete dictations with healthcare providers or supervisors.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize medical transcription software and equipment effectively.
• Proofread and edit transcribed documents for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and correct medical terminology.
• Manage transcription workload efficiently to meet turnaround time requirements.
• Stay updated with medical terminology, procedures, and relevant healthcare trends.
