Medical Transcriptionist

Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. While our core business is travel, we are expanding our ancillary services to include health and wellness support for our travelers. This role will involve accurately transcribing dictated medical reports and other documents, ensuring high standards of quality and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe dictated medical reports, including patient histories, physical examinations, consultations, operative reports, discharge summaries, and more.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all transcribed documents.
• Adhere to medical terminology, abbreviations, and formatting guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
• Proofread and edit transcribed documents for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation.
• Utilize transcription software and equipment efficiently.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify any ambiguities or discrepancies in dictations.
• Manage workload and meet turnaround time requirements.
