MEP Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our growing medical services startup. The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within our healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards and contributing to a safe and efficient patient care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement MEP systems for new and existing healthcare facilities, including HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, water supply, drainage, and medical gas systems.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure MEP systems are integrated effectively and meet project requirements.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of all MEP equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international building codes, safety regulations, and healthcare standards (e.g., JCI, NABH).
- Manage MEP project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and drawings related to MEP systems.
- Implement energy-efficient strategies and sustainable design practices for MEP systems.
