Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Merchandise / Retail Planner to join our growing team at Apollo Pharmacies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, driving sales performance, and ensuring the right product is available at the right time and place across our extensive retail network. This role requires a strong understanding of retail operations, demand forecasting, and inventory management principles within the healthcare and life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandise plans to meet sales and profitability goals.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Manage inventory levels across all retail locations, ensuring optimal stock availability and minimizing stockouts and overstocks.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams to align on product assortment, promotions, and inventory strategies.
- Forecast demand for various product categories and SKUs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, and margin.
- Optimize product placement and visual merchandising strategies within stores.
- Contribute to the development of new retail strategies and initiatives.
