Merchandise / Retail Planner - Retail Sector (2-4 Yrs)

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Merchandise / Retail Planner with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate degree and a passion for the retail industry. You will be instrumental in driving sales and profitability by optimizing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and developing effective merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute merchandise plans to meet sales, margin, and inventory objectives for assigned product categories.

Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.

Create accurate sales forecasts and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and reduce excess inventory.

Collaborate with buying, marketing, and store operations teams to ensure alignment on product assortment, promotions, and visual merchandising.

Monitor product performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve sales and profitability.

Manage the open-to-buy process and ensure adherence to budget.

Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
