Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to join our dynamic team at ITC Limited's Paperboards & Packaging division in India. The Merchandising Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective merchandising strategies to drive sales, optimize product placement, and enhance brand visibility across various channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the Indian market and the pulp & paper industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising plans that align with sales targets and marketing objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for product placement and promotion.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure product availability and effective display.
- Manage inventory levels and optimize stock rotation to minimize waste and maximize sales.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other channel partners.
- Create compelling visual merchandising guidelines and ensure their consistent execution across all sales points.
- Track and report on merchandising performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct regular store checks and audits to ensure brand standards and merchandising effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in merchandising and retail.
